YES-MEN, THE

The Yes Men were a garage rock band from various parts of Australia. We recently released our debut album "Prosody" on the White Jazz label internationally (vinyl too), and on Stolen Records in Australia.
The album was recorded at the old and new Birdland Studios in Melbourne in 98-99 and was engineered by Mike Alonso.
We have released a 7 inch single "Fratricide" on the 007 label in Noo Yawk, and also recorded the Radio Birdman song "Anglo Girl Desire" for NoMango Records Birdman tribute album "Flattery".
The band consists of former and present members of God, Brother Brick, the Guttersnipes, Asteroid B612, Tumbleweed, Proton Energy Pills, the Freeloaders and Terabethia (the most famous band working the drunken football club function circuit in Sth Gippsland).
We have supported the New Bomb Turks and our friends the Hellacopters, and will hopefully be touring Europe if it's still there early in 2001.
The Yes Men unfortunately no longer exist following the tragic death of guitarist/singer/song-writer Sean Greenway on the 21st of January.
