HOSS are here! This seminal Melbourne band presents us their brand new exclusive single! They had not recorded any new songs since 2000 (and their latest record wasnt even seen), but here they come again! Joel Silbersher (GOD, HOSS, SABOTAGE, TENDRILS, MELONMAN, DARK HORSES…) has temporarily abandoned his friends Tex Perkins and Charlie Owens from his band DARK HORSES in order to record this new single with two absolutely stunning songs. A song of their own whose freshness and compositive & playing perfection will surprise everyone, and a KINKS cover in the B-Side which wont let you move out of the sofa.
After all these years, HOSS have nothing to prove to none. They are conscious members of one of the most important bands in Australian history -they always did just what they pleased, recording impressive albums in their Detroit-Country-AussieGrunge-Pop trademark style… ANY style has been theirs whenever they have wanted it. And they have never changed. They were, back in the days, the hairs of the NOISE of BORED! along with their sadly gone friends POWDER MONKEYS. Today, HOSS limit their activity to playing live at Melbournes Tote Hotel once or twice a year, thats all, and rumours say that they could record a new album soon, but its only rumours, although we pray for it.
